The Story Behind PetCalmZone
In 2021, I adopted Milo, a rescue dog who came home with more fear than I expected. He paced by the door, panicked when I left and trembled at sounds I barely noticed. I loved him from day one, but those first months were hard.
I’m not a veterinarian or a dog trainer. I’m a dog lover who needed answers. The advice I found online was often contradictory, and the pressure to find a quick fix only made things worse. So I started reading everything I could: guidance from veterinary organizations, behavior research and the work of certified behavior professionals.
Understanding Milo changed everything. Progress came slowly, with patience and small steps, not miracle products.
I created PetCalmZone for people like me. Not specialists, just dog lovers who want to understand their anxious dog and help them feel safe. It’s the resource I wish I’d had during that first year.
